Pale, open straight grain
Pale and bright with a long, open grain. Tough and resilient — it takes daily use and keeps its calm.
Deep chocolate, flowing grain
Deep and dark, with a flowing grain that shifts in the light. The richest of the three — quietly luxurious.
Honey tone, varied figure
A honeyed wood with lively figure, milled from trees past fruiting. Warm, characterful and kind to the planet.
A surface you'll want to touch.
The finish does two jobs — it protects the wood, and it lets the grain speak. We use a different one for each wood, chosen to flatter it.
Belgian-made plant-based oil, worked into the grain. It enhances the figure, enriches the tone and leaves a smooth, low-sheen surface that reveals the wood's natural character.
Stained and sealed with a matte German lacquer, preserving the warm tone and natural texture while protecting the surface for everyday use.
Strength, where it counts.
Two metals do the structural work — steel for sheer strength, aluminium for its strength-to-weight ratio. Both finished to last.
Chosen for its exceptional strength. Where a piece has to hold weight and stay flat for years, steel does the work.

The soft touch-points — where a laptop, phone or pen meets the wood — are lined in pure merino wool felt.
Merino felt is naturally breathable — it absorbs moisture without trapping odours, so the surface stays fresh through long days at the desk.
We select only cruelty-free merino wool, produced in New Zealand and felted for a dense, protective cushion that's gentle on your devices.
